Black Squirrel Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Goshen, Indiana.
Black Squirrel Golf Club first opened for play in 1988. The course was designed by Tom Zimmerman.
The course was built on rolling farmland. Water hazards (eight ponds) come into play on twelve holes, and numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. Some of the greens are large and multi-tiered.
The signature hole is #9, a 480-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot over a pond with a fountain to the green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,483 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,018 yards. The longest holes on the course are # 2, and # 12, both are 507 yard par-5s. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 405-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Black Squirrel is # 15, the 150 yard par-3.
